ATTENTION: The MyGeotab Navigation Menu and User Interface will be updated for all State of Colorado Fleet users! This new menu may reorganize menu items and screens in ways that may be unfamiliar. We encourage you to use the “Search” bar at the top of the new navigation menu format.

This video demonstrates how to basically complete creating a zone in MyGeotab using the new User Interface. Please remember to follow the specific naming guidelines.

The following webinars walk you through the necessary steps to set up a zone in MyGeotab. There are two ways to add a zone in MyGeotab. Zones can be added individually or in bulk with a file upload. Be sure to choose the appropriate video for your needs.

Regardless of the method of adding a zone, a zone type must be selected for each added zone. The desired zone type must exist before adding the zone. If desired zone type does not exist, create a new zone type before adding the zone. The Add Zone Type webinar will show you the steps for this process.

Please note, the terms "geofence" and "fence" are often used interchangeably with "zone". We use all three of these terms throughout these webinars.

You will also need to confirm that you are following the naming conventions that State Fleet has established within the MyGeotab environment.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please note the URL to access the State Fleet MyGeotab database has changed since this webinar was recorded. The new URL is:
