Our Telematics deployment is well underway.  As of March 31, 2022, 2306 fleet vehicles have telematics installed.  The deployment is a four-year initiative through June 2024 and follows a controlled project mapDPA and State Fleet Management worked with the Attorney General’s Office and the State Office of Risk Management (SORM) to develop the Telematics Universal Policy, which went into effect on November 2, 2020.

Telematics are here to make the State fleet more efficient and keep you safe. The capabilities of telematics allow the State of Colorado to monitor vehicle locations and operations, to ensure that if you are ever in a risky or dangerous situation, we can help.
