New Additional Vehicle Request (AVR) Submission Process

Effective May 19, 2025, the process for submitting the AVR request has changed from submitting the form via email to using the Additional Vehicle Request Tracker Form. Please note the the Additional Vehicle Request Excel form has also been updated (V2), be sure to download the newest version from the Forms and Documents page, in the Planning section on our website.

If you have submitted your request and are looking to see the status of it, use the following links based on your agency to view the Status Tracker:

Status Tracker Status Legend:
| Pending Approval | Request is has been submitted and is in the approval process. |
| Cancelled Request | The request has been cancelled by either the submitter or SFM. |
| Denied | The request is denied and will not be approved |
| Approved | The request has been approved and Agency will receive order form for new vehicle |
| Used Enrolled | The request was for a used vehicle and that vehicle has been enrolled in CARS. This is the final step in this process. |
| Ordered | The vehicle has been ordered and you can track that status on the ETA sheet saved with MVAC files. This is the final step in this process. |
