The Ford E-Transit Cargo Van touts up to 40% fewer scheduled maintenance costs and a range as high as 126 miles (demonstrated), dependent on the van size. A benefit somewhat unique to this vehicle is the placement of the battery. It is underneath the body of the vehicle, as to not compromise any cargo space, a quite necessary benefit for this vehicle class. The vehicle can be charged with a 240V outlet, a Level 2 charger, or DC Fast Charger. The battery can reach a full charge from 0 in about 12 hours with a 240V outlet (about 10 miles per charging hour), in about 8 hours with a Level 2 charger (about 15 miles per charging hour), and about 40 minutes with a DC Fast Charger (about 30 miles in 10 mins).
