ATTENTION: The MyGeotab Navigation Menu and User Interface will be updated for all State of Colorado Fleet users! This new menu may reorganize menu items and screens in ways that may be unfamiliar. We encourage you to use the “Search” bar at the top of the new navigation menu format.

A rule, also known as an exception rule, is created to identify when a specific event occurs. A rule is based on defined parameters; when an event meets the thresholds as defined in the rule, an exception is created.

This webinar reviews the functionality of Rules in the Geotab system. This task is often completed by the Agency primary Fleet Coordinator; therefore, this webinar is geared toward a Fleet Coordinator with Group Administrator access in Geotab. In this webinar, you will learn how to create a new rule by modifying an existing rule or from scratch, as well as information on the various types of notifications; how to edit and remove a rule; how to reprocess data previously collected with newly created rules; and how to set up distribution lists for ease of sending notifications.

If you are looking for a specific topic, refer to the list of topics below and their respective times in the video.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please note the URL to access the Geotab system has changed since this webinar was recorded. The new URL is https://gov15.geotab.com/coloradofleetmanagement/.
