Bulk Importing Users in Geotab

ATTENTION: The MyGeotab Navigation Menu and User Interface will be updated for all State of Colorado Fleet users! This new menu may reorganize menu items and screens in ways that may be unfamiliar. We encourage you to use the “Search” bar at the top of the new navigation menu format.

Bulk Importing Users in Geotab

It is sometimes more efficient to import a large number of users in MyGeotab, rather than entering users one by one. 

For example, if a Fleet Coordinator is performing the initial setup of a large group of drivers. This import can be completed through a "Bulk User Import" rather than entering users individually.

Only Geotab users with appropriate access (Group Administrator) have the ability to import users into the database (typically the primary Fleet Coordinator). You will need to assemble the relevant account information on the bulk user import template and use the Bulk Importing Users in Geotab instructions to walk you through the process.

Note: Be cautious when copying user information into the template, as there are many ways to interrupt the completion of the upload. Pasting data over the (hidden) validation fields in the template, entering duplicate user information, or entering incomplete information can cause errors.
