Colorado's fleet management system of record is the Colorado Automotive Reporting System, aka CARS.  Previously, two online versions of CARS were available, MyCARS and CARSWeb.  MyCARS has been decommissioned as of May 2, 2024.  Refer to the Decommission MyCARS Announcement for further details. Additionally, the MyCARS to CARSWeb Transition webinar provides training on common functionality in CARSWeb.

Please use the CARS Download Instructions for assistance with installing CARSWeb (read before you proceed)The current version of CARSWeb does not function correctly on computers with Windows 11 Version 24H2 installed.  Please check your version before you proceed with the installation.  Unfortunately, there is not a fix in place for the current version of CARSWeb and the only way it will work is to have your system rolled back to Windows 11 Version 23H2.  The good news is that the tentative go-live date of the CARS 2024 Upgrade is scheduled for December 16, 2024.  If your deskside support team will not rollback your system to Windows 11 Version 23H2, please reach out to the Fleet Application Support and Training Team (FAST) at dpa_sfmtraining_support@state.co.us; we will work with you to get you everything you need from CARSWeb until the CARS upgrade is complete.

If, after following the CARS Download Instructions, you have issues either installing or accessing CARSWeb, you can submit a ticket to our Help Desk.

Please Note: Internet Explorer was decommissioned in June of 2022; CARS can no longer be accessed via Internet Explorer.
